Our Programs - Program Cost and Insurance Coverage

Unlike other weight loss programs, we do not hide our costs, nor will we ever require any long-term contracts.

The cost of your program varies for each person.  We recommend attending one of our no-obligation information sessions to fully explain the costs to you.  If you are unable to attend, we will review the costs with you by phone.

In comparing the OTC weight loss programs to other popular alternatives (Jenny Craig, Weight Watchers, South Beach Diet or Nutri Systems, for example), you will find that our rates are extremely competitive and often less expensive than any other meal-substitution programs.  This is astonishing when you consider that:

  1. We’re the only major meal-provided program that is medically supervised
  2. We have the highest percentage of clients who reach their target weights
  3. Our clients benefit from the fastest rate of weight loss (3-5 lbs per week)
  4. We have 5 times better long term results
  5. We provide more intensive behavioral support and training

Best of all, clients can eliminate a major portion of their grocery, restaurant, and food bills during the program, and subtracting those daily expenses from our costs can make our program even more affordable.   This is especially true when you consider that the average person spends over $100 a week on groceries alone, and even more dining out.

Insurance reimbursement is a difficult issue.  Many insurance plans will defray some of the costs associated with a weight loss initiative.  But many do not.  Please bring your insurance information with you and we can help you inquire about this.   The good news is that regardless of how your insurance company handles weight loss, if you have a health savings account (HSA) or health reimbursement account (HRA) or a cafeteria plan, you can use these to cover the costs of your weight loss plan.

Nothing else you could spend your money on will provide you more long-term satisfaction than attaining your weight management goals.  Just ask our clients.

The truth is, most other weight loss options cost more than money.  Even if a dieter loses some initial weight, “plateauing” and regaining that weight drains dieters of hope, only to dump them out onto some other weight loss “option.”

In short, most dieters pay not only twice, but multiple times, and in multiple ways.

But here at OTC, we release clients from that pattern.  And we’ve never met a client who didn’t feel that that kind freedom was worth every penny.

Of course, we want to make sure that you go into this with eyes wide open, so we are standing by to answer all your questions.
