BMI 19-24: YOU ARE LOW RISK
  • Eat a healthful diet with five servings of fruits/ vegetables every day.
  • Exercise a minimum of 30 minutes a day will prevent weight gain.

BMI 25-29: OVERWEIGHT

  • You are at risk of medical complications associated with your weight.
  • It is even higher if your waist circumference is >35 (women) or >40 (men).
  • Make sure you are physically active. 30 minutes of physical activity every day has been shown to dramatically reduce the onset of diabetes.
  • Reduce your weight by 10-20 pounds to reduce your risk. If this is diffcult, OTC's new QuickTwenty program may be for you.

BMI OVER 30: HIGH RISK WITH THE MEDICAL DIAGNOSIS OF OBESITY

  • You are at serious risk for complications associated with your weight. You may already have some diseases that are on the list.
  • Your weight is a disease that requires a comprehensive approach.
  • Even if you’ve lost weight before and gained it all back, you can still manage your weight. Remaining weight stable post-weight loss requires significant support and possibly even some mini resets as you learn to live in your new, thin body. Our Rediscovery Program provides exactly those tools and support you need to create long-term weight stability.
